Parts Dept.'s Vacuum Filter acts as a final protection against damage by filtering dust and moisture from air prior to entering the vacuum pump. Running cleaner, dryer air through the pump improves efficiency and reduces wear. The filter's 8 gallon capacity boosts vacuum reserves; something like a mini balance tank. Housed in non-erodible PVC the aluminum filter element is washable and replaceable. Moisture, that collects in the filter, drains through a valve in the bottom of the housing. PD's Vacuum Filter is recommended for all vacuum systems. Easily installed with 1 3" input slip fitting and 2 3" output slip fittings the PVC filter mounts directly in the vacuum line. It comes with a stand or can simply be suspended from the vacuum line. The PVC housing's removable lid allows access to the filter.
